Great Divide
Self-Defined Style:
ESB Hot Shot ESB is an easy-drinking and remarkably smooth Extra Special Bitter, brewed in the classic-English style. More assertively hopped than ordinary bitters, light copper-colored Hot Shot showcases clean hop flavors, balanced by its slightly fruity nose and light-caramel malt character.
Best With:
Pastas with lighter sauces, such as proscuitto, pea and cream sauce, gorgonzola cream sauce, or salmon and leek sauce. Grilled shrimp, halibut or mahi mahi. White pizzas with olive oil, garlic and mozzarella (topped with spinach, sun-dried tomatoes, feta and basil, or proscuitto and roasted red peppers). We enjoy Hot Shot ESB with Cowgirl Creamery Mt. Tam from Denver's finest artesian cheese and exotic food shop, The Truffle. Mt. Tam is an earthy, triple crème that has characteristics of both Camembert and Brie. User login
