Abbey Double Grimbergen Double is a dark burgundy, top fermented Abbey Beer with a full body and abv of 6.5%. The mixture of different malts and the use of dark candy sugar combine to produce a delicious sweet toffee-taste, with a brandy-like finish. The name Double refers to this beer's strength - more robust than the standard table beer, but not quite as strong as a Tripel.
Best With:
Pair with roasted meats, cheeses, and some desserts such as chocolate.
