Brewed By:
Gritty McDuff's
Self-Defined Style:
Pub Style Ale Original Pub Style is a light copper-colored medium-bodied with a nice dry bite at the finish. A subtle combination of Cascade and Willamette hops give this ale a fine floral aroma and a slightly fruity aftertaste. The taste captures the freshness of a hand-crafted brew pub ale that goes right from the conditioning tank to your glass! Original Pub Style is a year-round release available in six and twelve packs all over the great state of Maine, and on draft at Gritty's Portland and Freeport brew pubs.
Best With:
This American pale ale's fragrant bouquet and spicy flavor lend to this beer's ideal match with generously spiced foods such as Southern barbeque, wasabi crusted Japanese dishes, and curry based Indian dishes. This beer is also the perfect complement to grilled meats, particularly burgers, and pizza. User login

Comments
Gritty's Pub Style Ale is good!
Appearance:
Medium Amber
Aroma:
Subtle
Flavor:
Good malt flavor, slight hops, with a hint of a caramel flavor that is very good.
Mouthfeel:
Smooth
Overall Impression:
I really like this. More flavorful than most Pale Ales.
Comments:
The combination of malt, slight hops, and the "hint" of caramel sweetness make this one a really good Ale. I will buy this again!
Cheers!
