Self-Defined Style:
A Blend of 7 Different Barrel-Aged Recipes of Jewbelation In 2010 we rebrewed every recipe of Jewbelation, our Extreme Chanukah/Anniversary Ale. We then aged each recipe to-date - Jewbelations 8-14 - in Sazerac 6-year Rye Whiskey barrels and blended them. The result is "Vertical Jewbelation," a truly unique and delicious journey through 14 year of Shmaltz!

Best With:
Wood-aged beers run a gamut of flavor profiles, however their typical robust alcohol content and mellow character enables them to work well with desserts or alone as digestif beers. Dark chocolate and its various incarnations are highly recommended.

Pours like molasses. Dark rum and sugar smell. 14 malts, and it shines through. Dark dark dark. Figs and coffee. Great. Less coherent the more I drink! A.
