amber to light brown color with rocky dissipating head. the aroma is a very interesting vanilla with hint of a cherry -like note. the flavor begins sweet, like an old-fashioned mixer, then displaying the strong bourbon finish as the name implys. the feel is astringent with sharp carbonation and a full body. definately a siping beer. a perfect choice for one who likes bourbon, but loves a good beer.
