This brew is super dark...like guineas dark. The aroma is almost like a chocolate raspberry ranginess while the flavor is full of coffee a heavy malt. I like it. Its heavy, but I like it. If in the mood for something heavy, have again

Outstanding Porter

Appearance: It's a porter...

Aroma: Definitely get some of the java on the nose.

Flavor:

Mouthfeel: Not too creamy, but not too light either.

Overall Impression:Great, unique porter.

Comments:
I LOVE this porter. By far my favorite offering from Kona. The coffee notes really come through, but they're not overpowering. A wonderful, complex brew!

BARLEY WINE

Appearance: GREAT

Aroma: GREAT

Flavor: OUTSTANDING

Mouthfeel: THE BEST

Overall Impression: I WISH I COULD GET IT AGAIN

Comments: MY WIFE AND I WERE IN KONA FOR OUR HONEY MOON AND WE WENT TO THE KONA BREWERY THREE TIMES. THE PIZZA WAS AMAZING AND THE BARLEY WINE THAT KONA MADE WAS THE BAST THAT I'VE EVERY HAD (AND I'VE HAD MANY). PIPELINE WAS ALSO VERY GOOD. IF YOU EVER GET THE CHANCE TO TRY THE BARLEY WINE (OR IF IT'S EVER MADE AGAIN) ONE SHOULD HAVE GLASS.
