First tastes...
Bronze/rusty in color
Not an overwhelming aroma, but some lemongrass coming through
Surprising red berry and citrus mixed with a mild hoppiness which keeps it from being too fruity.
Medium-bodied mouthfeel.
Overall this is a very refreshing drink for an Ale. The hops add a great citrus element that balances out the fruity tastes that you get at first.
This is a great option for a Summer beer when you've had too many hefeweizens, wheat ales, pilsners, and lighter lagers. Bravo to Lagunitas!
