balanced beer
Appearance: not as dark as left hand milk stout
Aroma: strong bitter nose
Flavor: its actually a smooth beer...well balanced for a 6.8r.
Mouthfeel: med. carbonation thicker forward and light finish almost dry finish. malty
Overall Impression: The first time i tried it...was the first beer of the night. I wasn't happy with it. I tried it tonight after a few and it really is a excellent beer. I would try again.
Comments:
Not bad for a porter. I like Black Butte Porter better...sorry.
