Self-Defined Style:
Kriek Cuvée-Brut is a Belgian Kriek created by a very different method than Kriek Lambic. Cuvée-Brutbegins with a Flemish brown ale that has matured on fresh whole cherries for a year. It's then blended with Oud Bruin and Goudenband ales of differing ages. The result is a beautiful, well-balanced, sweet and sour Kriek of great originality and complexity.
Best With:
The delightful tart quality of these beers enables them to work well as an aperitif, however they pair beautifully with tart desserts such as sour cherry pie, or strawberry rhubarb crisp. User login
