Belgian Tripel Our Abbey Normal is a strong Belgian Tripel style. Lightly toasted barley, wheat, and oats gave her a slight grain sweetness and bright golden blonde color. She fermented out to a warm 8% ABV. The Abbey part refers to the special strain of Belgian Abbey yeast that imparted a slight banana / bubblegum flavor with hints of vanilla, tangerines and clove, green apple, and apricots. Fresh Czech Saaz hops help give our big blonde friend a slight bitter front and a fruity finish.
