Self-Defined Style:
Amber Ale A bar fight always makes a good story. This one made a good beer. 1886, Sheboygan, Wisconsin. Louie Eisold, local ladies man, was hit over the head with a full glass of beer and killed. Legend has it, the fracas was over the neighbor's young, stunning wife. Legend also has it, an onlooker pried the beer from Louie's dying hands and toasted his lustful life. We do the same with Louie's Demise Ale, a rich, malty ale full of amber color and complexity. So here's to those who crave an immortal brew with German Perle and Tettnang hops as well as those who appreciate the search for true love.
