Brewed By:
Neuzeller
Self-Defined Style:
Black Beer One of the only beers in Germany that uses sugar in the brewing process, which has sparked some controversy in the German beer trade. No real controversy here, though, Black Abbot is simply delicious. Rich, sweetish, and very roasty, this is one of the most well-rounded stout-like beers anywhere in the world. Full, rich and soft.
Best With:
Excellent pairing with Cajun foods, paella, andouille sausage and dark breads. User login
