Brewed By:
Oud Beersel
Self-Defined Style:
Raspberry Lambic Oud Beersel Framboise Lambic from Brouwerij Oud Beersel is a classic among Belgian beers. Created by adding whole fresh raspberries to young lambic, which provides both seasoning and sparks another fermentation resulting in a product of great complexity. It has the acidity of champagne, the bouquet and delicate flavor of raspberries, and balance of almondy dryness. Oud Beersel Framboise is the missing link between beer and wine.
Traditional framboise, wonderful as aperitif, improving for at least two years in the cellar.
Ingredients:..... Raw wheat, malt, hops (2-3 years old), fresh raspberries (250g/L)
Best With:
Chocolate; Rich desserts; Salads
