Brewed By:
Samuel Adams
Self-Defined Style:
Stock Ale A smooth, refined version of a classic ale. Red to amber in color, bright, citrus aromas from the Noble hops and a full bodied caramel sweetness. Fruit and ester notes from the ale fermentation with a round, smooth finish.
Best With:
Old ales such as this work great with steak, game birds, venison and sausages. Big cheeses like the Roquefort or Stilton would pair nicely. User login

Sam Adams Boston Ale Tasting Notes
Bottle. Rich amber-copper pour with a moderate, white head. Nose is rife with caramel malts and some light, earthy hops. Flavor is sweet to start, with a strong caramel character, along with some chocolate and toasted biscuit notes. Later on some nice hops, some pine and floral. Medium in body with average carbonation, the beer finishes sweet, mildly sticky and roasty. This is a good beer, definitely underrated.
CHERRY WHEAT
Boston Beer produces some really enjoyable batches. Our favorite, though, is Samuel Adams Cherry Wheat. It is an over all easy enjoyable indulgence and a great night out.
