Hearty and smooth, brewed with select Moravian malt, Samuel Adams Octoberfest is red to golden amber in color. Primarily malty, slightly fruity with low to medium bitterness.

Best With: 
Great with potato croquettes, frites, pork, roasted or fried chicken, fried fish, veal and all manner of sausages.

Dark amber , almost red beer. Medium bodied, toasty / earthy flavor.
I generally favor darker beers, porters and American Strong Alea, but found this beer a pleasant alternative.
