Holiday Beer Bold and rich, with a touch of holiday spice, Samuel Adams Winter Lager is deep red amber to brown in color. Robust, malty, caramel, crisp finish from wheat malt; earthiness from Goldings Hops.
Best With:
The subtle malty sweetness of this brown ale bring out the flavors of barbecue (particularly with tomato and honey based sauces) phenomenally well. Also excellent with grilled meats, such as ribs or sausage.

Great flavor not too strong. No strong spice or wheat taste like some wheat ales.
Always my fav on tap this time of year. I just wish all the bars served it in the Sammy glass

slightly darker than the standard beers but not at all as dark as darker beers ie Guinness
