Self-Defined Style:
Wood Aged Belgian Strong Ale An incredibly complex, balanced and satisfying beer. Triple-fermented, the last time in French oak for at least 6-months (every batch differs according to its rate of maturation). Deep caramel malt notes blend perfectly with the vanilla and tannin of the oak and are heightened and accentuated by the 13% ABV. We have never tasted a better marriage of wood and beer. The finest new beer from Belgium in a decade. Only 3000 bottles allocated to the U.S.
Best With:
Fish, lamb, or sausage (especially when cooked with rosemary) have flavors that this beer loves to wrap itself around.
