Shipyard is a MUST!
Appearance:Amber
Aroma:Pleasing bitter/malt/hop aroma
Flavor:Something new for me, an English style bitter. Very good.
Mouthfeel:Moderate mixture of hop, spice, and distinct bitter.
Overall Impression:Like I said, a new flavor for me, but boy is this one great beer. The bitter taste may be an acquired one, but this will be enjoyed by me again.....and again.....and again......and again.....
Comments:A must try, Shipyard excels with this one......Cheers!
Hoppy and bitter.
Full brown ale.
Hoppy sweet smell.
Rich full body with a lingering bitter bite.
Shipyard Old Thumper Tasting Notes
Bottle. An OK beer. Pours a murky gold-brown with a fast-fading, white head. Light malt aroma, some faint caramel. Flavor has moderate sweetness, some grass notes, mild bitterness in the finish. Medium body with light carbonation. Certainly drinkable.
