Smuttynose Baltic Porter Tasting Notes
So solid. Had this guy on tap a few times: at Gottino in the West Village, at Rattle and Hum during Craft Beer Week. Pours pitch dark with a soft off-white head. Smells of roasted malts and coffee. Taste: delicious, rich and sweet yet somewhat bitter with dry roast. Quite smooth and full bodied. Finishes with lingering espresso and burnt malt notes.
