Dark n thick..... Sweet auroma of malt n caramel. Thick n complex miuth but with a sharper note that cuts thru the pure velvet texture of the 8. Unbelievable. I am rendored speechless

Better in the Bottle

Appearance: Dark, dark brown with a hint of red if held to the light

Aroma: My nose is not good enough to give a good description here

Flavor: In the keg - just another Belgian Ale, nothing to write home about. In the bottle - wow! Strong hints of caramel and chocolate, sweet and smooth.

Mouthfeel: Thick, heavy, bottle left a warming sensation

Overall Impression: A great beer, good stuff, this one.

Comments: But a bottle or two (or ten) and age them. I had a bottle that was in my beer cellar for close to 5 years and it was incredible. This past weekend, I stopped in at my favorite Belgian Cafe and had this on tap. While is good, by no means disappointing, the aged bottle was a thousand times better.
