Brewed By:
Stoudt's
Self-Defined Style:
Scotch Ale Stoudt's Scotch-style ale features a deep, burnished-copper color, sweet and very full-bodied palate, and well-defined characteristics of roasted and peat-smoked malt. This beer is brewed from the finest European ingredients and uses one of the few ale yeasts that ferments cool (55°) and is cold-conditioned or lagered for six weeks prior to bottle-conditioning.
Best With:
The robust maltiness of Scottish ales really brings out the flavor of game birds such as pheasant or quail, and works exceptionally well with lamb and roast pork. User login
