Blue Point Brewing Company was featured in a pre-taping this morning, January 23, for a Better Homes and Gardens Magazine Super Bowl party and beer segment. Set your DVRs and/or tune in to the Today Show (4th hour) on Friday the 27th. Big thanks to the Giants for winning and allowing the home team (football and breweries) to be featured.

The Blue Point Brewing Company is Long Island's only microbrewery. It was founded in 1998 by two long-time friends, Mark Burford and Peter Cotter.

The brewery was inspired by their life-long dream and built from a rare assemblage of equipment collected from breweries around the United States.

The Brewery

Storage tanks, fermentation vessels and other brewing equipment were also gathered from other breweries like Frederick, La Jolla, Red Hook, Pilgrim and others.
