Gnome 'Week' is upon us! June 6-9, 2012
As you may know Gnome Week is coming up! It’s the 6,666 anniversary of Gnome brewing, and the celebration kicks off June 6-9. You may be wondering how Chouffe has been around for 6,666 years, it’s quite simple really. Officially, Chouffe opened its doors as a brewery 30 years ago, because in 1982 the ancestor of the Gnomes who first discovered the magical water that Chouffe still uses for its beer today passed on the recipe to Pierre Gobron and Christian Brauweraerts in a hope to keep the Chouffe concoction alive.
The four-day event will feature a release of Chouffe Biere de Soleil and the return of the Brewery Ommegang Gnomegang collaboration. On the final day of the event there will be the world’s smallest toast with tiny branded Chouffe mugs and fittingly tiny coasters at 6:66 PM.
We also encourage you to check out Chouffe’s interactive Facebook page www.facebook.com/LaChouffe.beer prior to Gnome Week. The World’s Smallest Toast app brings fans to app that shows all things related to Gnome Week and more.
Beer sure and check out these Gnome Week events in MA.
