You can find and install it here if you signed in on Google. https://market.android.com/details?id=com.greatbrewers.beercloud&feature... .
If you still cannot install it after signing in, you might be running a minor version of Android. Please let me know full specs of your phone. Thanks for asking.

Fantastic app... first beer app to use social media. Only wish it would rotate the screen when hardware keyboard is being used.

I love the use of social

jubee@jtoday.ca's picture

I love the use of social media (and by far the best beer tasting app I've found for ANY platform), but there are some major sticking points. Unless some of the data collection is crowd-sourced, I can't see this competing with beermenus.com for finding where to get a beer I'm looking for. In the bay area most beers that I have had locally show the nearest place to find them 1800 miles away. Let users add locations (bars, stores, etc) along with the beers they've had there and the most recent price (should include whether or not it was happy hour) and you will be able to build the database quickly.

According to U.S. smart phone

skyred's picture

According to U.S. smart phone market Q3,2010 report from Canalys: Blackberry (RIM) only has 24.2% market share left, and this number is still decreasing. I see it's hard for BeerCloud to target Blackberry users going forward. http://www.canalys.com/pr/2010/r2010111.html

Well, I don't care about BeerCloud having a hard time targetting BlackBerry users because the Android users are loving BeerCloud.I love this app.

David666's picture

I am sure that the Beer Cloud 2.0 is a real piece of wonder. It is a way significantly improved version from the previous ones of the Android OS. The Android have actually bothered to remove all the flaws from the previous versions and have added some exciting new features.

Wait a minute! You wanna tell

Katatina88's picture

Wait a minute! You wanna tell that 1/4 of all users is nothing to be oriented at? I don't agree with you. And why shouldn't people get a good app only because they choose another smartphone? We, developers, shouldn't influence the market, we should supply a demand.

Shocking Response From Great Brewers Developers

CptRon's picture

Katatina88 Guess that leaves it open for you to come up with your own "Elite Brewers" app.

With the addition of BlackBerry Playbook along with the current 25% market share, the number of users will , at a minimum, stabilize.

As others join the market with more competitive products, the remaining 75% won't be divided further? What a short-sighted approach.

Thanks for your comment Kat!

It's important to notice that

skyred's picture

It's important to notice that I am only speaking for myself. Blackberry's 25% market share (a few month ago) is NOT stable, because it's decreasing rapidly. GreatBrewers.com tries to make BeerCloud to be available for as many platforms as possible when the cost permits. But, since the resources of BeerCloud is limited; as an advocate in the technology industry, I feel it's important to get GreatBrewers.com to know the priority of platform choices.
