History: The dark lager hails from Munich, whose highly carbonate ground water is well balanced by the darkly roasted malts used to brew this beer.
Food: Dark lagers are the ideal accompaniment to all manner of sausages, particularly hearty variations including bratwurst and kielbasa. It also works beautifully with baked ham.
