Golden Ale

Beer Style - Golden Ale

Bright and blonde with a fine body - this might just be the perfect package. Golden ales display the same color range and effervescence of a pilsner with subtle fruity esters found in most ales for a crisp, clean flavor that's layered with complexity.

History: The English answer to Czech pilsner, golden ales are top fermented, yet have the same delicate body and refreshing nature of lagers brewed with pale malts, save for a slightly more complex fruity character.

Food: Golden ale pairs beautifully with heartier fish, including salmon and tilapia, as well as grilled chicken and roasted lamb.
