Beer Dinner / Food Pairing
Maine’s Oxbow Brewing is quickly becoming a force to be raekwoned with. Their Belgian-style farmhouse brewery with a contemporary American influence produces “loud beers from a quiet place” that are definitely striving for perfection. Hand crafted in small batches in an actual farmhouse-turned-brewery on 18 acres of pristine North Star jewel land that includes an orchard in rural Maine, Oxbow is all about crafting complex beers that make it be all seem so simple.
Our friends at Meridian Pint are always miles ahead of everyone else, and not in an annoying "I heard that band before they were famous" kind of way, or in a "Pork belly is soooo 2010" kind of way. Meridian Pint loves discovering new things and charting new territory because they love sharing their delicious discoveries with you. December 4th, they will pave the way for their cider loving friends and take the food and fermentables dinner to a new level by hosting Crispin Cider for a five-course cider dinner.
Fabulous Beer Dinner at Lemon Grass featuring a 5 course meal that pairs Brooklyn Brewery beers with the fine cuisine available at Lemon Grass. This is a paid event so please stop in and get tickets ahead of time to ensure you're spot!
Hops or more hops? You decide! On Monday, November 5, the night before election night, Oskar Blues and Pizzeria Paradiso Georgetown team up to host a beer dinner that begs the question, "Hops or more hops?” Five courses and six beers will inundate you with flavorific taste sensations amplified by hops that will leave you wondering if liberal hopping or super-liberal hopping is the better choice. It’s like having to choose between Barak Obama and Samuel L. Jackson for president! If only life was so simple.
