Weyerbacher Idiot's Drool Release Party - November 17th
Head out to Weyerbacher Brewery in Easton, PA for the release of Idiot's Drool - a 12% Old Ale aged in oak for 4 1/2 years. Only 840 cork and cage bottles are available...max of 6 bottles per cusstomer. Cost is $23 per bottle.
Time of event is from 5-8pm.
Here are some tasting notes from head brewer, Chris Wilson:
"It's a full-bodied, deep burgundy ale with an incredibly complex character. Extended aging has imbued this beer with notes of vanilla, oak, leather and sweet sherry. A mild acidity and subtle carbonation rounds out the palate. Truly fantastic!"
