A twist on a traditional west coast IPA featuring a deep red color from European dark caramel malts. How about a smoked red ale fermented on American oak and with maple syrup, sounds like a good match with all things bacon.
This rich, strong ale neatly balances caramel malts and spices, providing warmth on a cool winter day. Every fall, we trek up the San Bernardino Mountains to harvest fresh spruce, then carefully add just the right amount of cinnamon and maple syrup to create our Warmer.
