Wonderfully layered, Brown Ale has a delightfully broad range of aromas and flavors that compared with Pale Ale, is slightly more complex and richer. This complex yet smooth ale is a testament to Ise Kadoya’s continuous efforts to creating a better beer.
Whether you are doing a little fly fishing here on the Battenkill or watching your favorite team on the tube this ale will be the one to have. A little brown in color but not dark in taste, with subtle hints of coffee. This ale will become a favorite after the first taste. 5.7% ABV
Food Pairing: Stands up to any hearty meat dish, especially in the Winter.
A brown-red ale with the aroma of cake, raisin and a touch of spice. The flavor starts off with the aforementioned raisins, and then moves on to a light chocolate and brown malt taste with a leafy hop and anise finish. The body is medium to light.
The alcohol content is 6.5 vol%.

A straight up American Brown Ale spiced with German and Canadian rye. The color is a rich medium brown with a creamy golden head and plenty of sweet, fruity malt notes in the nose. The flavors include malted sugars, candied fruits and pumpernickel bread balanced with an abrupt citrus and herbal hop character at the finish.

Flying Dog Nocturnal Nut Brown is a 6.4% ABV brown ale with Caramel 60, Victory, Cara-Pils, Chocolate, and Smoked malts and Perle and Willamette hops. In addition to their love of the night, nocturnal creatures have highly developed senses, which is recommended to fully appreciate this complex Nut Brown. The malty profile is dominated by caramel and chocolate sweetness with undertones of hazelnuts, dark fruit and subtle smoke.
