Project Hoppiness IV/English-Style IPA: Brewed with all English pale and light crystal malts, Target and Kent Goldings hops, the fourth beer in our Project Hoppiness series is full of the earthy, herbal character that defines a more British style of pale ale. Referencing the origins of the hoppy beers we all love, this hazy, golden ale was conceived as a refreshing alternative to the hop bombs that tend to dominate the market. Left in its natural, unfiltered state as a nod to the past and to retain more of the nuanced English hop flavors and aromas.
An English style India Pale Ale made with 100% organic malt and hops. English ale yeast and a simple grist bill create this light golden colored brew and provide a template for the discernable hop characteristics of earthy, grassy, and even hay-like flavors that are detected before a bitter finale. Brew unto others as you would have brewed unto you.
A classic rendition of the Style named after another one of the owners passions, the Indian Motorcycle. The bikes were fabricated in nearby Springfield Ma and at one time rivaled Harley Davidson. Jay's collection of antique bikes can be seen in Paper City's tasting room. For our IPA we use nearly two pounds of hops per barrel of British East Kent Goldings and American Yakima Goldings hops. We also use British light crystal, body building Munich malt, and North American pale malt. India'n Pale ale pulls from both the British and American traditions.
Tuatara India Pale Ale showcases the popular style of strong, hoppy beer originally developed to survive the long voyage to colonists in the Raj. Brewed using the finest English malts and classic English variety hops the IPA is a rich, burnished gold, and throws an enchantingly deep hoppy nose. Full in the mouth, there is some appropriate tropical fruitiness before an imperial bitter finish.
Serving Note: To let the malt character of IPA show through it is best served warmer than most, at 12 degrees Celsius.
White Hawk Select IPA is a traditional IPA . We've blended American West Coast Cascade Hops with a very generous dose of English Fuggle Hops. This combination makes for a very aromatic character, as well as a truly authentic English flavor which you must taste to believe."Hopheads" will love this brew!
This very drinkable English IPA has an affinity for spicier fare, but also pairs with anything from avocados to Mexican dishes to calamari to bar foods.
