Double Hump is their contribution to the West Coast / San Diego Double IPA. A coppery amber in color with a moderately persistent ivory-white head and malty, citrus and herbs aroma, American Two-Row and English Pale and Munich malts provide some light, sugary flavors well-balanced by the pronounced bitterness of the “3C” (Columbus, Chinook and Cascade) hops. All-in-all a very well-structured beer that makes it hard to believe that it’s a double IPA
A traditional west coast IPA with a distinct copper hue, enhanced by generous additions of navel oranges, sweet blood oranges and grapefruit, all grown in Redlands, CA. The citrus flavors and aromas intensify the zesty cascade and zythos hops to deliver a one-of-a-kind drinking experience. An invigorating beer with a pleasant, defining bitterness, perfect for warm weather.
Carnitas Tacos, chile relleno, Pad Thai. Tripel Crème Brie cheese.
Assertive and drinkable. Double IPA is California’s gift to beer lovers. Ours is brewed with four distinctly American hops: Centennial, Citra, Columbus and Simcoe, all beautifully balanced by five malts and generous additions of local orange blossom honey. An intense sensory experience — the fresh aroma of citrus, pine and grapefruit with the bold taste of hops and sweet honey.
Grilled lamb, smoked beef brisket, chicken fried steak. Crème brulee. Sharp blue cheeses, extra sharp cheddar

White wine fruitiness and dry bitterness dominate this IPA, making it pair beautifully with grilled fruits and vegetables, complex salads and Thai spice. Choosing from the most rare and interesting vareities, our genius team of brewers is releasing six Single Hop Imperial IPA's in 2012. Each has the same grist bill to highlight the individual hop variety (and make for one hellavu vertical tasting).

El Dorado. The Golden One. The ultimate prize legions spend their lives seeking. Only a few acres of El Dorado hops were harvested this year. When our brewers came across this small bountry, they knew the search was over. With overwhelming citrus aroma, sharp hop bitterness, and a crisp, dry finish, our Single Hop Imperial IPA is your chance to enjoy the prize.
On the brink of extinction, they were plucked from obscurity and thrown into the spotlight. Facing ignorance and disinterest, someone saw potential...and knew they would be big. We’re not dishing on the latest undeserving Hollywood celebutante counting down their 15 minutes. We’re talking about the big, bold, and beautiful Centennial hops. With huge floral and citrus notes, these high alpha hops are one of the the industry’s few triple threats. They can be used for bittering, aroma, and flavor, which make them perfect for our latest Single Hop Imperial IPA.

This beer needs an assertive food to stand up to it. Match Captain’s Reserve with aged cheeses such as Stilton, cured and grilled meats.
