The mission was to create a hommage to the American beerculture, where beers needs to have flavour, taste and style, contrary to the urine-colored pseudo beer that we often drink in Denmark!

You may think that this Christmas beer is a Christmas beer. But actually it is something as wicked as a classic Imperial IPA of 10%ABV. It is bitter as defeat and generously malty. If you are only into sugar sweet beers, this non-Christmas beer certainly not something for you.

PS Should be consumed year round.

Ingredients: water, malt, hops, yeast and wishes for a Merry Christmas!

2011 marks the 100th birthday of Mississippi Delta bluesman Robert Johnson who, according to legend, sold his soul down at the crossroads in a midnight bargain and changed music forever. Working again with our friends at Sony Legacy (yup, the same folks we did our Miles Davis-inspired Bitches Brew with), Dogfish Head pays tribute to this blues legend by gettin the hellhounds off his trail and into this finely-crafted ale.
