Oak-Aged Imperial Coffee/Chocolate stout
Strength (ABV):
8.4% ABV
Bitterness (IBU):

The brewers at Peak Organic mixed beer, chocolate, and coffee for this brew. A rich stout serves as a backbone, with organic black malt and chocolate malt providing a luscious foundation. During the boil, they add artisan chocolate from your friends at Taza. During conditioning, coffee from Coffee by Design is added. Then, this concoction is oak-aged, resulting in soft vanilla notes. The taste is lots of roastiness with definite coffee and chocolate notes. The oak provides some dryness and the hints of vanilla on the finish.

Sweet Stout
Strength (ABV):
5.4% ABV

A robust Irish style oatmeal stout with distinct roast chocolate notes and a creamy smooth finish. The German immigrants who founded Milwaukee's first big breweries brought over more from their homeland than a love of great beer: they brought their zest for life and friendly competition. Area brewers would gather regularly for a game of Sheepshead which would develop from a friendly after-work card game into a late night of skill and nerve, full of tense moments, shouting, laughter, and, of course, great beer. Gesundheit!

Dupont
Self-Defined Style:
Belgian Stout
Strength (ABV):
5.2% ABV

Dupont has done it again. They’ve brewed the first true Belgian interpretation of Stout, not a simple recreation of the style. Dark, dry and quenching, as only Dupont’s active and attenuating yeast can make it. Monk’s Stout has an intense black coffee aroma with a fine bitterness. It is light, almost astringent, on the tongue—like strong iced espresso. It finishes with deep roasted (almost charred) malt that is bracing and refreshing without the slightest trace of heaviness.
