Our Cabot Wheat is true to the traditional German style Hefe-Weizen beers. First let me explain what the words mean: "HEFE" means with yeast, and "WEIZEN" means wheat beer. Therefore, we have wheat beer with yeast. In brewing our Hefe-Weizen, we at Paper City Brewery have set out once again to stick with traditions. As in the authentic German wheat beers, we incorporate 50% German wheat and a traditional German yeast strain. This combination is responsible for the fruity banana-like aroma and a subtle natural citrus taste.
