De Graal Triverius

Brewed By:
De Graal
Self-Defined Style:
Witbier
Strength (ABV):
6.8% ABV

Triverius was primarily brewed to be refreshing, soft, and well-balanced. The brewery decided to brew a wheat beer, but not an ordinary wheat beer.

The beer contains about 40% more malt and wheat than an ordinary white. A very powerful yeast is used, leaving little residual sugar behind and ensuring that the Triverius is sweet and dry. Like other Belgian witbiers, orange peel and coriander are used, lending a subtle bitterness and aroma to the beer. The beer will be cloudy, as it is unfiltered, and experiences a secondary fermentation in the bottle.

Self-Defined Style:
Witbier
Strength (ABV):
6.0% ABV

Daniel Thiriez, who lives and brews in a charming old farmhouse amidst the rolling fields of France's north country, is considered by many to be France's best brewer. Every year he makes a different ale to celebrate Christmas, and this year's is a major departure from the darker brews he has done in the past. This Bière de Noël is a beautiful red-gold wheat beer -- with quite subtle all-spice and orange peel added. The result is a slightly tart, wonderfully effervescent, and quite refreshing festive brew -- a perfect alternative to Champagne, for the true beer lover.

Imperial Belgian Style Wit
Strength (ABV):
9.6% ABV

This year's Godzilla is a Belgian Wit style flavored with orange peel, coriander, ginger root, green tea, and chamomile tea from Reshi Tea. What makes this beer imperial is it's monstrous strength, 9.6% ABV.

This beer has a golden color and a sweet honey-like flavor with a floral nose from the chamomile. The addition of green tea adds a bitter balance to the sweet orange and chamomile. A very drinkable beer.

Milwaukee Brewing Ulao Wit

Brewed By:
Milwaukee Brewing
Self-Defined Style:
Belgian Style Wit

This year round beer is brewed with barley malt, wheat malt, and oats to create a smooth golden ale. The cloudy appearance is from the wheat and oat protien in suspension,an indicator that we purposely do not filter this fresh beer (much like our Hefeweizen).

During the boil the brewers add fresh ground coriander, dried orange peel, and dried ginger root to the brew kettle to impart a spiced flavor and aroma.

Ulao Belgian style wit is a great all around ale with a sweet malt flavor and light hop balance.
