Uinta Brewing Company introduces Tinder Rauchbier, the newest limited addition brew to their Crooked Line.
Inspired by Owner Will Hamill and Headbrewer Kevin Ely’s recent trip to Germany to inspect new brewhouse equipment, Tinder is a German-style Rauchbier (Smoked Beer) that kindles moderate malty sweetness and robust smokiness. Brewed with Bamberg beechwood-smoked malt, this medium-bodied lager ignites distinct campfire smoke flavors and aroma.
We brewed our Fest Bier in the spring with Idaho 2-Row Malted Barley and Vienna malts, hopped it with German Hallertau Magnum hops, and ferment it at low temperatures with lager yeast from a monastery brewery near Munich. It conditions for weeks in our cellar, then is moved to cold storage for further aging until its release in late summer.

NuHell is a new type of lager. This succubus of a beer will entise you and suck you in with it's bright lager appearance. By then it's too late, there is no going back. The hop flavor and aroma will lay you out as well as any IPA, yet has the crisp palate cleansing effects of a lager. Brewed with all New Zealand hops, NuHell IPL is a lager all true hop fanatics will lose their heads over.
Traditionally brewed in March just before brewing was banned for the Summer, Märzenbiers are malty, smooth, clean, and rich lagers that have a distinctive malt backbone and complexity for a style that can be so understated. Brewed with German Munich and Pilsen malts as well as German Hallertau and Tettnanger hops, this distinctive brew is conditioned at cold lagering temperatures for five months; some things you just can’t rush. When we bottle and keg this beer in three weeks it will be a true Oktoberfest offering, one that will be prominently featured during our Oktoberfest celebrations.
Why fly to Munich for a genuine Oktoberfest Lager when this one's inches from your lips? A smooth, malty lager brewed in the true Bavarian Style, using Two-row Pale, Vienna, Caramel and imported roasted Munich malts, moderately hopped with imported Czech Saaz and Yakima Sterling hops. Flavors reminiscent of honey, nougat and roasted nuts. Complex and beautifully balanced Prost!
Brewed with generous amounts of Vienna and Munich malts for a rich, full-bodied malty flavor, Dragonhosen begins as a traditional Oktoberfest lager, then stealthily breathes fire with 9% alcohol by volume.
