AMBER LAGER

This super hopped, copper colored, rye beer has distinct flavors coming from highly resinous hops, blended with grain complexities from Munich malt and rye. Lager yeast provides a crisp, clean backdrop for the bitter hop character and remarkably dry nature of the rye to dominate the flavor profile.

German Märzen beer - hearty, amber-colored, malty, and finely balanced lager that is refreshing and filling all at once - was the original staple of Oktoberfest celebrations. The Monk's Fest comes to us from the beautiful monastery at Weissenohe, in the green wooded hills of Franconia, northern Bavaria. This rare, traditional, and very tasty 'liquid bread', is as close as you can get to the real thing.

A refreshing amber colored Bock brewed with German malt and noble variety hops, and a Munich lager yeast. Cool fermented and lagered to maturity, this beer is smooth, satisfying and malty without being cloying – aiming at the drinkability of a Sierra Nevada Glissade but to a genuine Single Bock style. Named after a Native American princess who met her end over the eponymous Berkshire County waterfall - the highest in the state of Massachusetts.

When we decided to brew a special Session for the holidays, we knew right away what color it had to be: Red (and full-bodied). Next, we considered what kind of head it should have. Bright white was the obvious answer. And as for the label? Gotta be green, right? So there you have it. A new Session all decked out for holidays, ready to spread joy and cheer.
