A refreshing amber colored Bock brewed with German malt and noble variety hops, and a Munich lager yeast. Cool fermented and lagered to maturity, this beer is smooth, satisfying and malty without being cloying – aiming at the drinkability of a Sierra Nevada Glissade but to a genuine Single Bock style. Named after a Native American princess who met her end over the eponymous Berkshire County waterfall - the highest in the state of Massachusetts.

Best With: 
Traditional German dishes such as bratwurst and sauerkraut; blue cheeses; dark chocolate or toffee or caramel desserts.

New South Octoberfest is a special beer brewed for its namesake festival in Germany. Our delicious rendition of this classic style is a traditionally-brewed lager beer. It exhibits a clean and crisp German hop character, slightly dominated by a malty smoothness. The color is a beautiful amber. This beer is extremely drinkable, despite it's sturdy alcohol contest of 6.1% ABV.
Let the brewers of New South take you to another country...
if only for a glass or two.

Our fall seasonal beer, Bob’s ’47 Oktoberfest is a medium-bodied, dark amber brew with a malty flavor and well-balanced hop character. With this Munich-style lager we salute our friend Bob Werkowitch, Master Brewer and graduate of the U.S. Brewer’s Academy, 1947.

SENSORY PROFILE
An amber-brown, medium-bodied beer with a blend of caramel and toasted malt flavor and a low level of hop bitterness and flavor.
