Our flagship beer, named after the hardworking neighborhood in which Lakefront Brewery was founded.

Pours a brilliant amber with a bubbly off-white head. Aromas of American hops mingle with a slight floral character from the German lager yeast. A balanced maltiness with just a hint of sweetness dominates the flavor, with a crisp hop bite in the finish. A joy to drink; no wonder it's Milwaukee's favorite craft beer.

Best With: 
Pair this beer with any good German entrée like schnitzel or rouladen and you'll have an instant hit. Ideal Serving Temp: 46-48° F

At the height of beer garden days in Milwaukee, brewers searched for entertainment to attract the largest crowds of thirsty locals. One of the most ingenious ploys at Luedemann's Garden involved that Flaming Damsel. This mysterious woman made her living by lighting herself afire and diving from a 40-foot platform to the water below. We pay tribute to her aerial skills with the Flaming Damsel Real Blonde. Brewed under German purity laws with Pilsen malt and imported hops, this real blonde has a taste as smooth as her 40-foot swan dive.

This dark vienna-munich type beer has had extraordinary acceptance in international markets. Exports to the U.S. began in the early 80´s, and have since attained great success in Europe, Australia, Central and South America.

Great with potato croquettes, frites, pork, roasted or fried chicken, fried fish, veal and all manner of sausages.
