Our Crisp, lighter in body, yet still full flavored brew. Before Prohibition, thirst quenching lagers were firm and substantial, and enjoyed in huge volumes. This recipe incorporates yeast from the C. Schmidt Brewery of Philadelphia and a small portion of brewer's corn to recreate an 'industrial' lager of the turn of the century. Tasty history!

Best With: 
This American-style pilsener is quite effective on its own as an aperitif, but it is also a versatile food beer. Milder grilled foods such as chicken or fish are an excellent match.

Best With: 
A great gold pilsner will always work with all seafood dishes, brothy soups, tapas, and just about anything off the backyard grill. This brew also lends itself nicely jambalaya, falafels, and certain Caribbean dishes. Fried pub fare is also a fine accompaniment to German pilsener.

Dog Days is our warm weather beer and the only lager we produce. This golden lager is a German style Dortmunder with a delicate caramel malt character and light body. Dog Days has a noticeable noble hop character creating a crisp, clean finish.

Best With: 
This dunkel pairs well with roast pork loin, fried chicken, barbeque and quesadillas.
