- Summary
As Assistant to the United States Army working with the Directorate of Logistics, this seasonal position truly showed my ability to adapt to certain projects quickly and effectively. I was promoted to Administrative Assistant for my Supervisor. Now my fourth year at this temporary position, my objective is to keep my supervisor up to date on certain meetings, scheduling, maintenance and organization to promote success for the many venues that take place in Logistics.
Learning and expanding my interests about professional development I was a PR assistant for one year to the owner of élan Cosmetics. My position and aspiration entailed sending out as many press releases via email to beauty editors, newspapers, and magazines to maximize potential for The Original Mineral Saver.
Being the epitome of a people person I was an Admissions Representative for the University of New Hampshire Admissions Office. I was selected to give presentations to over 250 students and parents as well as give weekly tours to anywhere around 25-50 guests. My goal was to attentively hone in on guests interests and questions to keep everyone intrigued.
At the UNH Alumni Center I was a Phonathon Ambassador; I built and developed a positive attitude that led to extremely high pledges for the University. One of the goals accomplished during working there was I garnered a $10,000 single pledge from a single alumni. While working there the objective of the UNH Alumni Center was to earn in donations $5,000 a night and was increased to $7,000.
As a Communications Intern with Friends Forever based in Portsmouth, New Hampshire, I partnered and assisted the supervisors of this nonprofit organization. I was extremely energized by those around me, and learned as much as I possibly could from each individual I encountered. My goal throughout the internship was to increase awareness throughout the New England area by coordinating fundraisers.
